Bostik PA115 is a nonwoven polyamide hot melt web adhesive for industrial filter media, automotive upholstery and apparel laminate applications. It provides excellent adhesion to textiles and urethane foams while its fine-filament construction delivers uniform adhesive coverage and good textile hand. With excellent dry-cleaning resistance, good elevated-temperature resistance, resistance to repeated home laundering and steam activation capability, PA115 is designed for durable textile and industrial laminations.

How to Activate & Apply Bostik PA115 Adhesive Webbing

Bostik PA115 adhesive web can be activated using an electric fusing press, dielectric press, heated rolls, heated air, radiant heat or steam press. Dry heat activation requires 240°F (115°C), while steam activation requires 230°F (110°C). Reactivation time is typically 8–10 seconds depending on the technique, temperature, pressure, substrates and adhesive thickness, and PA115 works exceptionally well in a dielectric press.
