Bostik PE165 is a nonwoven polyester hot melt web adhesive designed for lamination and assembly applications requiring high-temperature performance. Its fine-filament construction provides uniform adhesive coverage and good textile hand while bonding well to a wide variety of fabrics, urethane foams and vinyls. PE165 resists repeated home laundering, oils and plasticizer migration, making it well suited for demanding industrial bonded constructions.

How to Activate & Apply Bostik PE165 Adhesive Webbing

Bostik PE165 adhesive web can be activated using an electric fusing press, heated rolls, heated air or radiant heat. Heat activation requires a glue-line temperature of 347–392°F (175–200°C). Reactivation time is typically 8–10 seconds, although actual processing time depends on the activation technique, temperature, pressure, substrates and adhesive thickness.
