FAQs About Adhesive Roll Coaters

An adhesive roll coater is a machine used to apply an even layer of adhesive onto a substrate in a thin, uniform layer. It consists of two rolls, one coated with the adhesive material and one to apply pressure to the substrate.

The adhesive is stored in a tank attached to the roll coater that allows it to be easily transferred onto the coater. The substrate is then fed between the coated roll and a pressure roll, which presses the adhesive onto the substrate. Heat can be applied to aid in the curing or drying of the adhesive.
