Bostik PE103 is a general-purpose polyester hot melt web adhesive for automotive interiors, apparel and footwear lamination applications. It bonds to a wide variety of fabrics, foams and vinyls while its fine-filament construction provides uniform adhesive coverage, good textile hand and a permeable bond. PE103 also offers excellent wash resistance and good resistance to oils and plasticizers for durable bonded assemblies.

How to Activate & Apply Bostik PE103 Adhesive Webbing

Bostik PE103 adhesive web can be activated using an electric fusing press, heated rolls, heated air, radiant heat or steam press. Dry heat activation requires a minimum temperature of 221°F (105°C). Reactivation time is typically 8–10 seconds, although actual processing time depends on the activation technique, temperature, pressure, substrates and adhesive thickness.
