Power Adhesives Tecbond 440B is a biodegradable 1 3/4" (43 mm) hot glue slug engineered for both bead and spray application. It delivers outstanding versatility for packaging and product assembly.

Compatible with bulk hot melt machinery and Tec spray applicators, these bead and spray biodegradable glue slugs provide an open time of up to six minutes. This longer open time gives operators the flexibility to position and adjust components before setting.

A More Eco-Conscious Solution

Formulated with 45% bio-based content, Tecbond 440B offers a more sustainable alternative to conventional bulk hot melt. It meets the following internationally recognized environmental standards:

Under industrial composting conditions, exposure to heat, oxygen, and UV light begins the breakdown process. As the adhesive’s polymer chains degrade, naturally occurring microorganisms complete the cycle without leaving behind microplastics or harmful residues.

For maximum shelf life and to avoid premature degradation, store these biodegradable spray glue slugs in their original sealed packaging, away from direct sunlight, and at temperatures below 86°F (30°C).
