Infinity PUR 3000 Dual Temp Corded Applicator for 50 Gram Cartridges
The Infinity PUR 3000 applicator offers exceptional performance at an unbeatable price. This gun is able to dispense any of the Infinity PUR or hot melt 50 gram cartridges with ease. It offers a powerful 500-watt heater, lighted on/off switch, and dual (high and low) temperature settings all with an easy to read digital readout.
The Infinity PUR 3000 is great for applications that require continuous dispensing as there is no need to recharge on a base like the 1361 applicator. Plus, the high-temperature setting allows users to adjust the open time and viscosity of their adhesives and opens up many more material options.
The Infinity PUR 3000 corded cartridge gun comes with a sturdy plastic stand. There is also a metal stand option allowing for even easier use in busy applications.

Good tool. Easy to use. Heated the glue to working temperature within 15 minutes.
Purchased PUR 3000
Trigger ratchet could be a little better, but overall a decent gun.
Hot melt gun
This is the second one I’ve purchased, I haven’t used it yet but I hope it holds up better than the first one. I really like the PUR hot melt and I’m wondering why it’s so hard to find
Great but needs a tiny bit of work.
I like the tool. The stand is flimsy. But works well. It seems to take a long time to heat up and that is unfortunate for me because I use it very in frequently. For bigger jobs it will be great. But if you’re looking for one that you only use once in a while get a two bucker at the dollar store. Unless of course you need the special special polyurethane glue. Then get this one. Or of course if you have to have the best of everything this is one for you as well.
Stair railings with biscuit joints
As a carpenter having multiple stair rail joints bonded with wood glue can take days to strengthen, using the PUR system I learned quickly that "Open Time" using the higher temp setting & MP75 was needed to lower the viscosity for a tighter joint line. At each railing joint I used double biscuits, I also learned not to over apply product, the best I could do was a "playing card" thick joint which was acceptable versus wood glue you can get seamless air tight joints. High temp MP75 using double biscuit joints I had less than 60 seconds to position perfectly that being said I am going to stress test some mockup railing joints today and will check back in with results. My hope is the strength of the joint is superior and well worth the effort. Helpful hint: test & setup jigs to set pieces in order to hold with pressure you only only have 60 seconds using biscuits tops to get perfect position. CopperRiver Craftsmen
