Bostik PA92 is a nonwoven polyamide hot melt web adhesive designed for bonding heat-sensitive substrates such as leather, textiles and foam materials. With Bostik's lowest activation temperature for a hot melt polyamide web adhesive, PA92 helps protect temperature-sensitive materials from heat deformation while providing excellent bonding performance. Its 80% bio-based raw material content based on ASTM D6866, combined with plasticizer, chemical and creep resistance, makes PA92 a versatile solution for automotive interiors, apparel and footwear applications.

How to Activate & Apply Bostik PA92 Adhesive Webbing

Bostik PA92 adhesive web can be activated using an electric fusing press, dielectric press, heated rolls or air, radiant heat or steam press. The adhesive activates at 203–212°F (95–100°C) and is designed to heat and set within 8–10 seconds. Actual processing conditions may vary depending on the equipment, substrates, temperature, pressure and adhesive thickness.
