High-Temperature Web Adhesive for Upholstery, Filters & Apparel

Bostik PA145 is a nonwoven polyamide hot melt web adhesive designed for demanding textile bonding and lamination applications. Its fine-filament construction provides uniform adhesive coverage and good textile hand while delivering excellent adhesion to a variety of fabrics, urethane foams and vinyls. PA145 combines good chemical and elevated-temperature resistance with resistance to repeated dry cleaning and home laundering, plus the processing flexibility of steam activation.

How to Activate & Apply Bostik PA145 Adhesive Webbing

Bostik PA145 adhesive web can be activated using an electric fusing press, dielectric press, heated rolls, heated air, radiant heat or steam press. Dry heat activation requires 285°F (141°C), while steam activation requires 230°F (110°C). Reactivation time is typically 8–10 seconds depending on the technique, temperature, pressure, substrates and adhesive thickness, and PA145 works exceptionally well in a dielectric press.
