Tecbond 425 is a polyolefin-based adhesive formulated for high-performance spray applications in demanding production environments. These hot melt glue slugs are supplied in a 1 3/4" (43mm) format and deliver the highest initial tack of any spray grade in the Tecbond series, making them ideal for assemblies exposed to high tension immediately after compression.

The lower viscosity formulation promotes strong physical bonding on porous substrates while supporting efficient adhesive delivery rates for improved workflow throughput. Tecbond 425 bonds effectively to wood, fabrics, concrete, light gauge metal, and many plastics, and cools rapidly upon extrusion to help protect heat-sensitive materials such as foams and expanded polystyrene. Compared to traditional bead application, the spray pattern provides broader coverage, supporting stronger bonds and extended open time for complex assembly processes.
