Nordson® OEM and Replacement Pumps
Hot Melt Pumps for Nordson Systems
Nordson hot melt pumps are the driving force behind adhesive dispensing. They are responsible for moving hot melt from the melter to the applicator. Nordson provides different pump technologies to suit various melter models and application needs.
Piston Pumps- Commonly found in ProBlue® and Series 3000 melters, Nordson piston pumps utilize compressed air to drive a piston that pressurizes and dispenses the adhesive. These Nordson pumps are known for their high output capabilities and precise control over adhesive flow.
Gear Pumps- These pumps utilize rotating gears to create pressure and move the adhesive. Nordson gear pumps include both single-stream and dual-stream gear pumps, with varying output rates and pressure capabilities. Single-stream pumps are common in smaller melters like the DuraBlue® and AltaBlue® TT series. Larger capacity melters like the AltaBlue and VersaBlue® often utilize dual-stream pumps for higher output.
