Great product would buy again
Repair of a crack in a kayak made of polythene. Adheres well. It is important to work at high temperature with the glue gun
Repaired the Trashed Can
A car hit my $85 trash can and broke it pretty severely. When the collectors picked the can up with the “jaws”, it further damaged the can. So I order a gun and the recommended glue sticks from Hotmelt and seemed it back together. After a month it’s still holding up to the “jaws”. Very impressive!
Worked great on my automotive carpet project
The SuperTAC 500 for plastics worked for me. I have been working on an interior project on my 1985 IROC-Z Camaro. I needed to remove and replace the carpeting on the sides of the console. The carpet backing is reported to be PE. The console has molded ID as PPO, but the service manual suggests that may be a form of PP. The factory used hot glue, so I was trying to use the same method. The first stick that I chose did not bond consistently well to my materials, but this SuperTAC 500 seems to have done a very good job. I record video and post my projects to You Tube. In the video, I ran some preliminary tests to see how well it would bond. It bonded well enough to the carpet backing that is would usually tear rather than loose bond. Infinity Super Tac 500
First time user of this Hot glue. I do automotive upholstery work and always needing to hold / glue plastics. I'm highly impressed for the hold this hot glue has. It's not an epoxy, but hold well! Glad I gave it a try and will be ordering more when needed!!
