Henkel LOCTITE® LIOFOL HS 1161 is a solvent-based heat seal coating designed for cups, trays, portion packs, and food lidding applications requiring reliable seal integrity and strong resistance to oils, grease, and sauces. The coating bonds effectively to PP, HIPS, APET, PET, and aluminum foil substrates while maintaining good block resistance and room-temperature processability. HS 1161 is suitable for food packaging applications under applicable FDA regulations and allows direct adhesion to PET and foil without primer systems, making it a strong option for converters producing a wide range of lidding formats and food containers.
